Mindwave for Good

Google Ad Grants Agency for Charities

Up to $10,000 a month in free Google search ads, set up and run by people who worked on Ad Grants inside Google. We apply, build the account and manage it, so your cause shows up when people search for it.

Most charities leave the grant unspent

Google Ad Grants gives eligible charities up to $10,000 a month in search advertising. Very few use anything close to that. The grant comes with strict rules: a minimum click-through rate, no single-word keywords, conversion tracking that actually works, and an account structure Google will check. Miss them for long enough and the account is paused.

So the grant often gets switched on once, half-built by a volunteer, and left. It spends a fraction of what it could, or it gets suspended and nobody notices for months.

What we do with your grant

We handle the application if you don't have a grant yet, then build the account properly: campaigns around what people actually search for (donating, volunteering, getting help, your services), conversion tracking on donations and sign-ups, and ads that keep the account compliant.

After that we run it month to month. We watch click-through rate and keyword quality, add new campaigns for appeals and events, and report on donations and sign-ups, not clicks. If your account has already been suspended, see our grant reactivation service.

Why charities come to us for Ad Grants

Both Mindwave founders worked at Google with non-profits, including bringing Ad Grants to market in this region. We know how the programme is meant to work and where accounts usually go wrong.

Grant management is a flat monthly fee, never a percentage of grant spend, and charities pay half our standard rate. You can see the full Mindwave for Good rates here.

Some of our
charity partners

Native woodland in autumn, seen from above

Hometree establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland through afforestation, restoration and education. Their work is patient, long term and grounded in stewardship.

We're building their Google Ad Grants account from the ground up, and we're Restoration Members too. A share of what our business earns goes straight into their rewilding projects and grows as we do: a modest patch of ground for now, with plans for something you could get properly lost in.

Dublin city centre and the River Liffey at dusk, seen from above

Dublin Simon Community has stood beside people experiencing homelessness in Dublin and the surrounding counties for decades. We're proud to work with them, and honoured to play a small part.

We're supporting DSC across their digital activity, from Google Ads and search to donor email, so they can see what's driving support.

Common questions

Is my charity eligible for Google Ad Grants?

Most registered charities in Ireland and the UK are eligible once verified through Google for Nonprofits. Hospitals, schools, universities and government bodies are not eligible under Google's rules. Send us your details and we will check for you as part of the free audit.

How much does Google Ad Grants management cost?

Grant management is a flat monthly fee at our charity rate, which is half our standard pricing. We never charge a percentage of grant spend. The audit and grant health check are free.

Can the grant be used for display, video or social ads?

No. The grant only covers text ads on Google Search. If you want to reach people on YouTube, Meta or display, that needs a paid budget, which we can run alongside the grant.

How long does it take to get a grant account live?

It depends on how quickly Google verifies your charity. Once you are approved, we can usually have a compliant account built and live within a few weeks.
