For charities on every UK register

Google for Nonprofits verifies your charity before it approves an Ad Grants account, and your registration with the relevant regulator is part of that:

  • England and Wales: the Charity Commission
  • Scotland: the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR)
  • Northern Ireland: the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland (CCNI)

Once verified, you can apply for up to $10,000 a month in free Google Search ads. Our Ad Grants management service takes care of the application and the account.

Ask for Gift Aid at the right moment

Gift Aid lets your charity claim an extra 25p for every £1 a UK taxpayer donates. It only counts if the supporter makes a Gift Aid declaration, so the ask needs to be clear.

We build Gift Aid prompts into appeal landing pages and donor email journeys, using the CRM or email platform you already have. We sign a data processing agreement before touching donor data.

A London office and a charity rate

We have an office in London as well as Dublin. Charities pay half our standard rate, and grant management is a flat monthly fee, never a percentage of grant spend.

Every engagement follows the same steps: a free audit, a 90-day roadmap, the build, then monthly reports on donations and sign-ups. See the full Mindwave for Good offer.

Some of our
charity partners

Native woodland in autumn, seen from above

Hometree establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland through afforestation, restoration and education. Their work is patient, long term and grounded in stewardship.

We're building their Google Ad Grants account from the ground up, and we're Restoration Members too. A share of what our business earns goes straight into their rewilding projects and grows as we do: a modest patch of ground for now, with plans for something you could get properly lost in.

Dublin city centre and the River Liffey at dusk, seen from above

Dublin Simon Community has stood beside people experiencing homelessness in Dublin and the surrounding counties for decades. We're proud to work with them, and honoured to play a small part.

We're supporting DSC across their digital activity, from Google Ads and search to donor email, so they can see what's driving support.

Common questions

Which UK charities can get Google Ad Grants?

Most registered charities in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are eligible once verified through Google for Nonprofits. Hospitals, schools, universities and government bodies are not. We check eligibility in the free audit.

Can you help us ask for Gift Aid?

Yes. We make sure Gift Aid is asked for clearly on donation pages and in donor emails, so supporters who pay UK tax are prompted to add it. Each eligible gift is worth an extra 25p for every £1.

Do you work with social enterprises?

Social enterprises are not eligible for Google Ad Grants, but they do get our charity rate on paid services such as Google Ads, paid social and email.

Why do you report on donations rather than clicks?

Clicks do not fund your work. We set up conversion tracking so we can report each month on donations and sign-ups. Working conversion tracking is also one of Google's rules for the grant.
